“We are up to the task and we are not and will not cede our responsibility in that regard to our customers.

“We have world class engineers who are constantly being trained to address such issues and KEDCO has overtime purchased hundreds of transformers for various communities that have lodged complaints and we are poised to strengthening such commitment, hence there is no need for individual or communal contributions to do what we know how to do best and is our job.” Mr. Shawai stated.

He therefore called on electricity consumers to reports cases of faulty electrical equipment to the company for prompt action.

He added that customers should pay their bills and allow KEDCO to perform its job.
