No Presidential aspirant can match Kawnakwaso’s credentials – Galadima
Nasiru Yusuf
The former member of the board of trustees (BoT) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Buba Galadima, said no presidential hopeful can measure up to the credentials of former governor of Kano state Rabiu Kwankwaso.
KANO FOCUS reports that the politician stated this on Channels TV’s Politics Today, during a live interview programme.
“Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is the only politician in Nigeria that has got the CV that nobody has among all the flock that are running across the country,” he said.
Galadima who is also a former secretary of Congress of Progressive Change (CPC) said NNPP only needs three months to win a fair and transparent presidential election in Nigeria.
“I only need three months to establish a party and win the presidential election, if there is a free, fair and transparent election. That is my field.
“We took over the party on March 1, 2022 and INEC said every political party must hold congresses and establish structures before March 31.
“We have to give INEC notice to start and within 14 days we concluded ward congresses, LG congresses, ward congresses and states congresses, zonal congresses and national convention,” Galadima said.
Prepare colonialism in peace than independence in conflict
Galadima expressed sadness on the increasing rates of violence in different parts of the country and prepared to live under colonial government if it will guarantee peace.
“We have done everything under the sun to make it (things in Nigeria) work, it didn’t work. Now we have somebody with the pedigree of performance, somebody with the foresight that can take us to the promised land. Why not him?
“If the Queen will colonise Nigeria again and allow me to go to Kaduna freely, let it be,” he said in reaction to why Nigerians should trust NNPP differently.
“The are only two political parties in Nigeria today: NNPP and the rest. It is the winning party.
“It is 22 years old but reinvented two months ago. We’ve seen shivers across the spines of all those that you fear because they know that our candidate will be the next president of Nigeria, God willing,” he said.
